Mirror

A view so whimsical
Mirrored identical
Looks so much better reciprocal
So much consistently intentional
As bulbous as third dimensional
So much more than simply conventional
My offer raised from over my head as your sentinel
Enslaved voluntarily as a criminal
Shackled at the feet to the wrist and all.
One knee first then slowly I fall
With no want to rise
No need to fight
For I see you with no eyes
I despised all that I am not for so long
Until my reflections protesting and arrested me
I stare into this glass yet it’s you I see
Connected
Protected
Minimizing the neglected
Moments

  1. Neglected moments mimic fear,
Lose weight under years thought forgotten.

We pave ways to new orders
And make use of new mirrors
    For new visions,
    What’s left of what was
When released was we considered us,
Our makeshift selves in clay forms
We returned to the setting our first eon.

What sun is this on our day then?

What news of the new covenant on this heart?
What vision and in what regards?
